Packing for the 46 Day Contiki Camping Trip | TRAVEL

From June 12th- July 27th I'm going on The Original Contiki Tour! This tour is a camping tour, with a few nights in hostels/cabins. It is 46 days long and visits 21 countries! I've been planning for this trip for over a year and am very excited to be embarking on it soon! While researching about this trip, I found that there was hardly any information online about Contiki's Camping tours. Which makes sense since they only offer 3. So I decided to write down my packing list to help others who may be looking for help of what to pack! In 2015, did a 26-day camping tour across America with a company called Trek America and learnt a lot from that so that's helped me a lot this time around!

I've also done a blog called "The Ulitmate Contiki Survival Guide" which goes into more details about all things Contiki and some tips/advice! If you want to read that blog just click HERE!

There is deff pros and cons to using one over the other however because this is camping tour where we'll be moving around a lot between countries I have decided to go with a rucksack this time. This rucksack is awesome because it opens up like a suitcase, instead of being a top loading rucksack like normal. I've travelled with a top loading rucksack before and it was so bloody frustrating. Never again!
  • Carry on Bag- I'm just going to be using a normal backpack for this!
  • Daypack/ Shoulder Bag
  • Purse/Wallet
  • Travel Wallet- I use my Contiki travel wallet because It was free and does everything it needs too in regards to keeping all my tickets, passport etc safe!
